The WW-20 Portable fifth wheel
wrecker quickly converts any standard tractor for towing service at a moments notice.
Manufactured since 1970 this unit has proved itself reliable and effective with numerous
companies throughout the U.S. and overseas for over 30 years.

Installation normally
takes about 15 minutes on any standard fifth wheel tractor. The unit can also be quickly
removed putting the tractor back into service hauling freight.

Installation is fast and simple
with a forklift or shop crane. The WW-20 has a king pin which locks directly into the
fifth wheel just like a trailer.

The rear of the WW-20 sits directly
on top of the trucks frame and locks down with specially designed heavy-duty frame clamps.

The electric/hydraulic lift system
derives the required 12 volts from the tractors battery through a 15 FT jump cable.
The unit is grounded through the tractor's frame. Dual 4 inch I.D. cylinders provide ample
power for a 20 ton dead lift capacity (boom retracted) and 15,000lb tow lift capacity
(boom extended). Double acting cylinders are incorporated protecting the rams from the
elements when stored in the down position.

Hooks up and tows just like a
conventional full-size wrecker. 1/2" tow chains wrap around the frame then hook into
the sling hooks. Leftover chain is fed through safety keyholes and into safety hooks
directly on the boom.

An adjustable boom safety pin supports the
boom while towing. This relieves the hydraulics of unnecessary pressure extending the life
of the lift system . An anti-sway sling chain is hooked under the boom preventing
"swing out" when accelerating providing a more comfortable ride.
